The costs and usage figures quoted for appliances should be taken as a guide only, as factors such as the size of your home and personal preferences can alter these costs considerably. The units measured are also just an average estimate. Most electrical appliances have their rating on the name plate.

Whilst all care is taken to ensure the figures are accurate, the figures are based on an average electricity rate of 30.5 cents per kWh and a gas rate of 2.92 cents per Mj. Due to geography, the different number of tariffs and the exclusion of the Service Availability Charge (SAC) results may not be an actual reflection of your bill.
