What is natural gas and where does it come from?
Natural gas is a non-renewable fuel source. It is a colourless and odourless mixture of gases - including methane, ethane, propane and butane. Methane burns relatively cleanly to produce heat energy. Today, it is one of the world's most important fuel sources. It is estimated that over 20 per cent of our energy usage worldwide is fuelled by natural gas.

Did you know by using natural gas instead of electricity, you are also helping to reduce your impact on the environment? Natural Gas and LPG produce nearly 75 per cent less greenhouse gas emissions than electricity generated from a coal burning power station.
