With our foundations firmly set in country NSW, we understand the challenges and opportunities facing the 1,500 towns we support.
We also understand the importance of giving back to our customers and supporting local events and initiatives - whether that means making long-term investments in infrastructure or getting behind the local school fete.
When Country Energy was formed, we set about restoring service levels, opening up job opportunities and increasing our presence across country and coastal NSW. Our workforce has increased to around 4,000 - including 620 new apprenticeships - and we now have 142 customer and field service centres.
We have also adopted a unique decentralised management structure to ensure we "keep our finger on the pulse". Its all about focussing on our customer's needs and priorities and making decisions locally.
