What if I am not successful this year?

It is anticipated Country Energy’s apprenticeship program will continue in future years. Country Energy’s website will be updated with opportunities as they become available.

If I am not successful will I be told?

If you are not short listed for Assessment or Interview attendance you will receive notification which will provide a telephone number and a time frame in which you can obtain feedback regarding your application.

How will Country Energy notify me if I make it to the next stage?

We will either email or call you through the various stages of the apprentice recruitment process.

I did the ability test last year, do I need to do it again?

Yes, it is important that your competence is assessed as to your ability today.

What if I can't attend the ability assessment in my selected location on that day?

If you are invited to the ability assessment and unable to attend for the invited session, please ring 1800 353 007 to discuss alternative assessment sessions.

What should I do if I am invited to an interview?

Do I need a drivers licence?

To begin an apprenticeship it is not necessary to have a drivers licence although it is expected that during the apprenticeship that a manual drivers licence is attained.

How safe will I be working with electricity?

At Country Energy, the safety of our employees and apprentices is paramount. Safety training is a priority for the organisation; both employees and apprentices are continually updated on safety best practice.
