Apprentices – current training contract

Applicants that are currently in an existing training contract and are deemed to be the successful applicant following recruitment processes, will be required to obtain a release from their existing employer/group.

This release will need to be completed in sufficient time to enable a commencement date of 12 January 2009 to accept the position.

The successful applicants will be invited by the hiring manager to an orientation visit on or before 9 December 2008 to meet the manager and other personnel at the field service centre. During this visit, the new employee will provide any outstanding employment documentation and discuss induction training and travel to one of our training centres at Goulburn, Parkes or Grafton.

Induction commencement date

Successful applicants will commence induction at one of our training centres in Grafton, Goulburn or Parkes. Inductions commence on Monday 5 January 2009. For some apprentices their commencement date may be the day prior to enable travel to the centre.

Apprentices will be able to discuss travel and accommodation arrangements for induction during the orientation visit. Country Energy will cover the cost of accommodation, travel and other reasonable incidental costs associated with working away from home.
