The Country Energy engineering graduate program is offered to new or recent graduates in Electrical Engineering and is an ideal foundation for a rewarding career as a power systems engineer.
The program provides opportunities to develop and utilise your engineering skills in designing, developing and co-ordinating all areas of the electricity supply industry.
As a graduate engineer you will be supported to develop all the necessary skills and experience to become an accomplished professional engineer by rotating through various network business units.
Who is eligible?
For our Graduate Program, you must have completed – or be about to complete – a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical).

What are the benefits and conditions?
The Graduate Development Program is a rotational program across various business units within Country Energy and employment conditions are covered under the Country Energy Enterprise Award.
The ordinary hours of work are 36 per week to be worked in an eight hour day, over a nine day fortnight. Employees have a Rostered Day Off (RDO) once a fortnight.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and progression occurs annually on satisfactory completion of assessments throughout the year. All graduates receive pay rate increases from the Award when due.
Travel to and from work is the responsibility of the employee. Any travel associated with work and during work hours is provided by Country Energy.
