
Improving supply reliability and quality
Major recent network investment projects for the Central Western region include:
- $1.8 million 66,000 volt regulator at West Jemalong to cater for increased demand and improve supply quality and reliability.
- $550,000 powerline from Orange’s west zone substation to the north zone substation to cater for increased demand and improve reliability.
- $500,000 upgrade of transformers at Parkes Town zone substation to cater for regional growth, increase capacity and improve reliability.
- $500,000 upgrade of the Russell Street powerline to Bathurst's CBD to improve reliability and meet increased demand from new hospital.
