
Improving supply reliability and quality
Major recent network investment projects for the Mid North Coast region include:
- $2.3 million recloser installation program to improve the reliability of rural powerlines across the region.
- $682,000 refurbishment of the Mount George - Elands powerline to improve reliability.
- $653,000 7.3 kilometre extension of the 11,000 volt powerline from Tuncurry to Hallidays Point to cater for increased demand and improve security of supply to Hallidays Point.
- $494,000 construction of stage one of a new 11,000 volt powerline in Walters Street, Forster, to cater for increased demand and improve reliability.
- $400,000 investment in upgrading kiosk substations and low voltage powerlines in east Port Macquarie to cater for increased demand and improve reliability.
