Major recent network investment projects for the South Western region include:

• $12 million zone substation and 33,000 volt powerline in Griffith to cater for increased demand and improve supply reliability to Griffith city and the CBD area.
• $5 million upgrade of Narrandera zone substation to cater for increased demand and improve reliability.
• $1.3 million stage one upgrade of Goolgowi’s 33,000 volt powerline to cater for increased demand and improve reliability in the area north west of Griffith.
• $400,000 upgrade and underground conversion of the 22,000 volt powerline in Tribune Street, Albury to cater for increased demand and improve reliability.
• $360,000 investment in two substations and associated powerlines to cater for a new medical centre development in Albury.
