Our electricity network covers more than three quarters of New South Wales and parts of southern Queensland, making it one of the largest in Australia. It includes more than 200,000 kilometres of powerlines and 1.4 million poles.

Network maintenance

Our network is used to transport energy safely and reliably to customers. We monitor it constantly and carry out aerial patrols to pinpoint areas that need special consideration or upgrading.

To carry out maintenance work safely, we sometimes need to schedule a supply interruption. When planning these interruptions, we aim to ensure minimum disruption to customers by providing advance notice. In everything we do, we also do all we can not to adversely affect the local environment.
