In the ACT, Country Energy provides the following concessions which are funded by the ACT Government:

Pension Concession
If you an eligible Pensioner, you would receive a rebate that covers both electricity and natural gas.
The annual rate of the rebate is $194.87.
The rebate is calculated on a daily basis and will appear on your electricity account as a separate line item. You must be listed as the current electricity account holder to be eligible.
Department of Veterans' Affairs Pension for War Widows or War Widowers or a Disability Pension at the "totally and permanently incapacitated" (TPI) or "extreme disablement adjustment" (EDA) rates (as shown on the Repatriation Health Card i.e. the "Gold Card").
Life Support
The ACT Government offers life support rebates to eligible customers to be used on the principal place of residence only.
The annual rate of the rebate is $121.87.
A life support rebate is paid on apparatus prescribed by an ACT medical practitioner as necessary in the treatment of a life threatening condition.
NOTE: If you wish to apply for another form of life support, you will need to supply a letter from the doctor stipulating that the machine is ‘essential lifesupport equipment’.
Note: If the customer wishes to apply for another form of life support, the supporting letter from an ACT practitioner will have to stipulate that the machine is “essential life support equipment for this customer”.
